This is Dominic's friend Jordan, who you all very graciously let join for Christmas 2019 (and then who proceeded to stay in your basement for a few days afterwards). Dom sent me here to show off photos "much better than he could ever take." I wanted to comment to say that they are fantastic - even and especially the selfies! I am so glad to see that you got to travel with him, had so much fun together, and managed to capture it along the way. My well-wishes and eternal gratitude to all the Lucero clan. Please never stop sending Christmas cards.

Re: South Africa and Namibia selfies

Hello! Thanks, Helen.
BTW: Someone asked why the orange rubber wristband around the lens focus ring? Out of habit I use them on my lenses because the rubber focus rings on older lenses have come loose. Since I'm a Catholic press photographer, I use the wrist bands given from friends in Utah -- of all places: "Catholics Totally Rock."

Re: Bugs up close

Glad to see you enjoying your refurbished lens from Adorama, Sam - Great pictures of bugs!

BTW if you ever need advice or after-sales support with any order from Adorama, I'm only ever an email away: Helen@adorama.com

Helen Oster
Adorama Camera Customer Service Ambassador

Re: iPhone in Italy

Thanks for your post, Michael. The D700 is a great camera. I'm sure you'll agree. And the iPhone4 is a real fun toy, especially the camera. He has taken many engaging photos of the pope, and the people who come to see the pope. And of St Peter's Square! The photos of the beatifcation of Blessed John Paul II were just brilliant; I was so sad I could use only a couple of them in our newspaper.

However, Peroni is a dreadful beer.

Re: Catholic Rules for Twitter?

Yeah...that top ten list is good stuff.

Who knew Catholics had a sense of humor?

Re: Catholic Rules for Twitter?

Thank you for the history here!
